Polonina “Wetlińska” in the Bieszczady mountains

It is a mountain range featuring a few peaks and at the same time it is a meadow (polonina) in western Bieszczady Mountains.

It contin- ues to Smerek mountain, divided by M. Orłowicz pass. South-western slopes of this mountain range are short and steep, running towards Wetlinka valley, while western slopes run to the valley of Prowcza and Nasiczniański stream, and north-eastern ones turn into long ridges, which gently fall to a more distant valley of the San River. The range of Połonina Wetlińska is connected with Dział through the Wyżna Pass. It is one of the most frequently visited places in the Bieszczady. The meadows offer spectacular views and tourists can stop at the highest located mountain hostel called „House at Pooh Corner” (at 1228m a.s.l.), situated just under the Hasiakowa Rock.
