Equestrian Center in Arlamow

The greatest happiness in the world on a horse's back lies

The Arlamow Equestrian Center traces its history back to the 1990s, but it flourished with the opening of the Arlamow Hotel in 2013. We match horses from our stable to the riding skills of those interested in our offer. We welcome children, families and friends. Don't ride horses? Would you like to give it a try? Or maybe brush up on your skills? Then you've come to the right place!

Horseback riding in the open air

I fly, I fly the horse's mane around its neck bends floats...

Admiring from the horse's back, the magnificent landscapes around Arlamow, is one of the undoubted attractions of our Equestrian Center, to which we invite, regardless of the season, riders moving freely in three horse gaits. Galloping through the Arlamow Mountains is an unforgettable experience. If you do not have sufficient riding skills the magnificence of the landscapes can be admired during a carriage ride.

Comprehensive training and development

Horseback riding can be learned by anyone, but riding in harmony with the horse is an art.

Training methods used by our instructors bring good results. We teach not only the riding technique itself, but above all the proper cooperation with the horse, based on the proper use of aids and correct saddle, regardless of riding skills. We conduct classes for beginners and advanced riders from age 7 to “100” years. For the youngest (from 3 years to 7 years) who want to start their adventure with a horse, there are ponies waiting in our stable. We conduct rides on two indoor riding arenas.

Information for beginners

For horseback riding, as for any other sports training, it is necessary to prepare. A lesson for beginners lasts 30 minutes and takes place on a lunge (a long rope held by an instructor). During the first lessons, the rider learns how to catch his balance in the saddle, how to sit properly and how to interact with the horse at the trot and at the walk.

Advanced rider training

For advanced riders, we offer re-training lessons focused on improving the saddle so that the horse learns to read riding aids correctly. We work with the horse, targeting light action with aids, restoring willingness to work and perfecting dressage and parkour elements. We teach the horse to relax, to put on the aids and to act lightly with the saddle and calf.

How to dress for horseback riding:

  • Pants: the ideal pants are breeches, tracksuits or leggings or gaiters are also acceptable. Avoid stiff, non-stretch pants with thick seams on the legs, such as jeans or corduroys. Pants must meet two requirements: be long and not restrict movement;
  • Shoes: above all, covered! Even in summer, do not wear sandals or other footwear with open toes and heels. Shoes should be above the ankle, with as firm a sole as possible (sneakers or running shoes are not suitable, as are trekking boots and clogs). The best option is to go for slippers. They are safe, quite comfortable, with an ideal height;
  • Top: when choosing a blouse and any subsequent covering, there are several things to consider. First - the garment must FIT the body. It is not allowed to go to a riding lesson in flapping jackets and too loose and large shirts. The instructor must be able to see how the student is sitting, holding his back and shoulders. Second - the outfit must be QUIET, that is, it must not rustle or make noises so as not to distract or frighten the horse. Third - the outfit must be COMFORTABLE, it must not restrict movement. Fourth - it is better to dress “onions” than to overheat or get cold;
  • Long hair should be tied up so that it does not restrict visibility during the class.

During vacations, Christmas vacations and long weekends, we encourage you to make reservations well in advance.
