Etymologically, the name comes from a Latin word arbor which means ‘tree’. The site was established in 1975 and is located 7 km north-east off Przemyśl. The Arboretum also includes a 19th c. fort of the former Przemyśl Fortress. It continues the tradition of the gardens typical for the region of Małopolska.Visitors will also find here the Natural History Museum and the Sensual Garden.
